Cicadas have long been a symbol of spiritual resurrection and enlightenment.

The Myth of Cicadas states that they were once human, enchanted to sing and dance until their human forms withered. In return, they were granted never-ending song. They are tasked with watching humans and reporting those who honor the Muses and those that do not.

Hand sculpted and detailed front and back. Cast in either sold sterling silver or bronze. Pendant measures approximately 3" from wingtip to wingtip and 1" high. Total necklace length is 20".

All chains and closures are made of sterling silver.
